To reach Trek Santa Cruz via public transportation, first take a bus from Huaraz to Caraz. The buses leave frequently from the main terminal in Huaraz. The journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Caraz, you can find local transportation (shared taxis or 'colectivos') that will take you to Cashapampa, the starting point for the trek. Expect to pay around 10-15 soles for the taxi ride.
