Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Chachapoyas, which is the nearest city to Catarata Gocta. From the city center, head southeast on Av. Circunvalación. Take the exit towards the PE-3N highway and continue for about 30 km. Look for signs leading to Cocachimba, the village closest to the waterfall. After reaching Cocachimba, park in the designated areas near the village. The entrance to the trail leading to the waterfall is about a 10-minute walk from the parking area.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Chachapoyas to Cocachimba. Buses regularly depart from the main bus terminal in Chachapoyas; the journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Be sure to check the bus schedule upon arrival. Once in Cocachimba, you will need to pay a small entrance fee (around 10 soles) to access the trail leading to Catarata Gocta. The trailhead is a short walk from where the bus drops you off.
