Getting There

    If you're driving from the city center of Ancash, take the Pan-American Highway (Carretera Panamericana) southbound. Continue on this highway for approximately 4 hours until you reach the town of Chancay. Once you enter Chancay, follow the signs for 'Castillo de Chancay' and turn onto Av. Primero de Mayo. The castle is located at Av. Primero de Mayo 1230. Parking is available near the castle.

    From the main bus terminal in Ancash, look for buses heading to Chancay. The journey typically takes around 4 to 5 hours. Once you arrive at the Chancay bus terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards Av. Primero de Mayo, which is about a 15-minute walk.
