If you are driving from Huaraz, take the Avenida Luzuriaga road heading south. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the Carretera Huaraz-Pativilca. From Recuay, continue on the road towards the Antamina mine, and follow local signage that leads you towards Laguna Rajucolta. The last part of the drive may involve unpaved roads, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Expect to pay for parking near the lake.
