    If you are driving, start from Huaraz, the main city in Ancash. Head south on Av. Luzuriaga towards Av. 28 de Julio. Continue straight onto the CA-10 highway. Follow the signs for Carhuaz and continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through the towns of Carhuaz and Yungay. After Yungay, look for signs pointing towards Llanganuco Lakes, which will lead you onto a scenic road. The lakes will be approximately 20 kilometers past Yungay. There are parking areas available near the lakes.
