It is very difficult to express in so few words how wonderful, exciting, and challenging this expedition was. 1. Scheler's pre-sale attention and advice were always punctual and clear, explaining every detail and clearing up doubts. 2. The price of the expedition is very appropriate considering all the logistics and supplies required (car transportation, guides, cooks, food, muleteers, and mules). 3. The company's hotel is excellent and affordably priced for arriving 2 or 3 days before the expedition and for coming to rest after it. 4. The guides, cooks, and muleteers were excellent and attentive. 5. The food was very good, balanced, and varied. It was an amazing experience, where we had 2 hours to enjoy the lagoon and do treeking (optional that we chose not to do to have more time in the lagoon)

Excellent Alpamayo experience

I had an excellent experience with this tour operator during my Alpamayo expedition. From the very beginning, the team was professional, responsive, and caring about their clients. They always answered my questions promptly and did their best to accommodate my needs throughout the trip. Our guide was experienced and always focused on both safety and making sure everyone was ok. The porters were hardworking, friendly, and the cook prepared delicious meals, especially considering we were on a high-altitude expedition. Also, considering the safety of the clients, it was the only company that, from the very beginning, did not recommend me to climb Huascaran this season, but to opt for Alpamayo instead. And exactly the same week we climbed Alpamayo, there were 4 deaths on Huascaran... I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a climbing or trekking adventure in Cordillera Blanca.
