From the city of Huaraz, head south on Avenida Luzuriaga towards Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight onto the CA-115 road, which will take you through the scenic Callejón de Huaylas. Follow the signs to Parque Nacional Huascarán. The park entrance is located approximately 30 kilometers from Huaraz. Be prepared for winding mountain roads and allow about 1 hour for the drive. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to the park, typically around 10-20 PEN.
