Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Huaraz, the capital of Ancash. Head southeast on Av. Luzuriaga towards Av. José de la Riva Agüero. Continue straight onto Av. 28 de Julio and follow it as it becomes PE-3N. Drive for approximately 30 km. You will see signs for Waullac as you approach the archaeological site. Make sure to park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Waullac using public transportation, go to the main bus terminal in Huaraz. Look for a bus heading towards Carhuaz or the surrounding areas. The fare is usually around 5-10 soles. Inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Waullac, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you may need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the archaeological site.
Taxi
