If you're starting from Trujillo, drive south on the Pan-American Highway (Ruta 1) for approximately 4 hours until you reach Huaraz. Once in Huaraz, navigate to Avenida Interoceanica 719 where Peru Bergsport is located. This is the starting point for the Santa Cruz Trek. Make sure to fill your gas tank and check the car condition before departing, as the drive involves mountainous terrain.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Trujillo, take a bus from the main terminal (Terminal Terrestre Trujillo) to Huaraz. The bus ride takes around 7-8 hours and costs approximately 40-70 PEN (Peruvian Soles). Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary. Once you arrive at Huaraz, take a taxi to Peru Bergsport at Avenida Interoceanica 719. The taxi ride should cost around 10-15 PEN.
