Car
If you're driving from Abancay, take the PE-3S road towards the town of Andahuaylas. After approximately 2 hours, you'll reach Andahuaylas. From there, continue on the PE-3S for about 30 more minutes until you reach the turn-off to Sóndor, which is marked by a sign. Follow the dirt road for about 10 km until you arrive at the archaeological site. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy, as some parts of the road can be tricky.
Public Transportation
To reach Sóndor by public transport, first take a bus from Abancay to Andahuaylas. Buses leave frequently and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once in Andahuaylas, look for a local minibus or taxi that goes towards Sóndor; the fare should be around 10-15 Soles. The journey from Andahuaylas to Sóndor can take about 30-40 minutes. Confirm with the driver that they are heading to Sóndor and ask to be dropped off at the archaeological site.
Walking
If you're already in the nearby community of Sóndor, you can walk to the archaeological site from the village. It is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill. Follow the main path leading out of the village, and look for signs directing you to the site. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
