From Abancay, take the main highway (Carretera Panamericana) heading southeast towards Curahuasi. The drive is approximately 36 kilometers and should take about 40 minutes. Follow the signs for Curahuasi, and keep an eye out for the turnoff on the right that leads into the town. Once you arrive in Curahuasi, look for the local landmarks or ask for directions if needed, as the area can be a bit confusing with narrow streets.

Public Transportation

To reach Curahuasi by public transportation, start at the Abancay bus terminal. Look for buses or minivans that are heading toward Curahuasi; these typically depart every 30 minutes or so. The fare is around 5 to 10 soles. The trip will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at the Curahuasi bus terminal, you can either walk to your destination or take a local taxi for convenience.
