Getting There

Car

If you are driving, start from the town of Mollepata. Take the road towards Soraypampa. It's approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive depending on road conditions. Once you reach Soraypampa, you can park your car there. The parking area is usually well-marked and there may be a small fee for parking (around 10-20 soles). From Soraypampa, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Humantay Lake.
Public Transportation

From Cusco, take a bus or collectivo to Mollepata. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Mollepata, look for a local transport option (usually a shared taxi) to take you to Soraypampa. This ride will take around 1.5 hours. There may be a small fee for the shared taxi, typically around 20 soles. Upon reaching Soraypampa, you will need to hike approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Humantay Lake.
