If you are driving, start from Abancay city center. Head southwest on Av. San Martín toward Av. Independencia. Continue on this road for approximately 7 km until you reach the intersection with the road to Curahuasi. Turn right onto the road leading to Curahuasi (PE-3S). Drive for about 30 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. After reaching Curahuasi, follow the signs toward the Mirador de Taraccasa. The final stretch will be about 5 km on a gravel road. Please be cautious as the road can be narrow and winding. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain. Additionally, consider bringing snacks and water, as there may not be facilities nearby.

To reach Mirador de Taraccasa via public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Abancay. Look for a bus heading to Curahuasi; these typically depart frequently throughout the day. The fare is approximately 5-10 PEN. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Curahuasi, you will need to take a taxi or a mototaxi to reach the Mirador.
