Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Mollepata, which is the closest town to the Salkantay Sky Lodge. From Mollepata, take the road towards Soraypampa. The drive from Mollepata to Soraypampa takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach Soraypampa, follow the signs leading to the Salkantay Sky Lodge, which is located at Soray 08645. There is limited parking near the lodge, so be prepared for a short walk if necessary.

Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Salkantay Sky Lodge using public transportation, first take a bus from Cusco to Mollepata. Buses leave regularly from the Terminal de Transporte in Cusco, and the journey takes approximately 3 hours. After arriving in Mollepata, you can take a shared taxi or a minivan to Soraypampa, which will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Soray 08645 near the lodge.

If you are already on the Salkantay Trail, you can hike to the Salkantay Sky Lodge. Depending on your location on the trail, the hike can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours.
