If you are at the Plaza de Armas (the main square of Arequipa), head southeast towards Calle Santa Catalina. Walk straight down this street until you reach the intersection with Avenida La Paz. Turn left onto Avenida La Paz, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Recoleta. Turn right onto Calle Recoleta, and you will see the Monasterio y Museo de la Recoleta on your left at La Recoleta 117.

From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Avenida La Paz. Look for buses that head towards the 'Urb la Gruta' or 'La Recoleta' areas. Get on the bus and ride until you reach the stop closest to La Recoleta. Once you get off, walk a short distance down Calle Recoleta, and you will find the Monasterio y Museo de la Recoleta at La Recoleta 117.
