If you are starting from the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa, head southwest towards Calle Mercaderes. Walk along Calle Mercaderes until you reach the intersection with Calle San Francisco. Turn left onto Calle San Francisco and continue straight. After a few blocks, you will reach the intersection with Avenida Ejercito.
