Walking
From the main square in Ayacucho (Plaza de Armas), head east on Avenida 28 de Julio. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carr Ayacucho-Quinua. Turn left onto Carr Ayacucho-Quinua. Continue along this road for approximately 5 km. You will see signs for Museo de Sitio Wari as you approach. The museum will be on your right.

From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearby bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre de Ayacucho) located about 1 km north. Look for a bus heading to Quinua, which is a frequent route. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Museo de Sitio Wari. Once you arrive, the museum is a short walk from the bus stop.
