Walking
Start from the main plaza in Ayacucho, Plaza Mayor. From there, head south on Avenida 28 de Julio for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida Alfonso Ugarte. Turn left onto Avenida Alfonso Ugarte and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Puca Cruz. Turn right onto Calle Puca Cruz, and follow it for about 15 minutes. You will pass several local shops and residential areas. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards Puente Sotoqchaca. After approximately 15 more minutes of walking, you will see the Puente Sotoqchaca ahead.

From Plaza Mayor, walk to the main bus terminal located at Avenida 28 de Julio. Look for buses heading towards 'Urb Barrio Puca Cruz' or 'Sotoqchaca'. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you get off at the nearest stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes down the main road, and you will arrive at Puente Sotoqchaca. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the bridge.
