Merge onto the Panamericana Norte and continue for about 36 km. Look for signs leading you to La Pescadera. As you approach La Pescadera, take the exit towards JGW9+M89. The Refugio de Vida Silvestre Laquipampa will be located a short drive from the exit. Parking is available near the entrance.

Take a bus from Chiclayo to La Pescadera. Buses leave from the main bus terminal in Chiclayo regularly and the fare is around 10-15 PEN. The journey takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in La Pescadera, you may need to take a taxi or walk approximately 2 km to reach the Refugio de Vida Silvestre Laquipampa, located at JGW9+M89. Make sure to ask the bus driver to drop you off at the closest point to JGW9+M89.
