Car
From Cusco, head northwest on Avenida de la Cultura toward Av. La Paz. Continue on Route 28B for about 50 km until you reach Huayllabamba. Once in Huayllabamba, follow the signs towards MachuQolqa Viewpoint, which is located at JWPJ+8VP, Huayllabamba 08670. The viewpoint is approximately 5 km from the town center. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
Take a bus or collectivo from Cusco to Huayllabamba. Buses leave from the terminal in Cusco, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, costing around 10-15 soles (approximately $3-4). Upon arrival in Huayllabamba, you can walk or take a taxi for about 5 km to reach MachuQolqa Viewpoint, which may cost around 10-20 soles ($3-6).
Walking
If you are already in Huayllabamba, you can reach MachuQolqa Viewpoint on foot. The walk from the town center to the viewpoint is about 5 km and will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Follow the main road leading out of town; the viewpoint is well-marked along the way.
