Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Cusco, head east on Av. Sol towards Av. de la Cultura. Turn right onto Av. de la Cultura and continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers. You will pass through the district of Saylla. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Pikillacta. Once you reach the junction near the town of Lucre, continue on the road that leads to Pikillacta for about 5 more kilometers. The entrance to the archaeological site will be on your left. Please note that there is a parking area available at the site.

    From the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, locate the bus station for local buses heading to the district of Saylla. Board a bus that is going to Saylla or Lucre. The fare is usually around 2-4 soles.
