Getting There

• Walking

  Start from Plaza de Armas, the main square in Cusco. Walk towards the northeast exit of the plaza onto Calle del Sol. Continue straight until you reach Avenida El Sol. Turn left onto Avenida El Sol and walk until you reach the intersection with Avenida Independencia. Turn right onto Avenida Independencia and keep walking until you see the signs for Sacsayhuaman. Follow the signs uphill until you reach the entrance to Sacsayhuaman. From there, you will see signs directing you to the Cusco Planetarium, located about a 15-minute walk from the entrance of Sacsayhuaman.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida El Sol. Look for a bus heading towards Sacsayhuaman or any bus that states 'Puca Pucara' or 'Tambomachay'. Get off at the stop for Sacsayhuaman. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the planetarium, which is a short 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You’ll need to walk back down the road towards the entrance of the Sacsayhuaman archaeological site, then follow the path leading to the Cusco Planetarium.

• Taxi (or Ride-Sharing Service)

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app like Uber. Request a ride to 'Fundo Llaullipata carretera a Sacsayhuaman Km2'. Tell the driver you want to go to the Cusco Planetarium. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes from the Plaza de Armas, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the location with the driver before you start your journey.
