From the main bus station in Cusco (Terminal Terrestre), take a bus heading to Urubamba. The ticket counter will have signs for Urubamba or Maras. The journey takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Urubamba, ask the driver to let you off near the Maras turn-off, which is a small road leading to Maras. You can also confirm with locals if unsure.

Collectivo (Shared Taxi)
At the same bus station, you can also take a collectivo to Urubamba. These are shared taxis that leave once they are full. The cost is slightly more than the bus, but it’s faster, taking around 30-45 minutes. Once in Urubamba, swap to another collectivo heading to Maras. Make sure to inform the driver you want to go to Moray, as this is nearby.

Walking from Maras
If you arrive in Maras, you can walk to Moray from there. The distance is about 7 km (4.3 miles) and takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hours on foot. Head southwest out of Maras on the main road, and follow the signs towards Moray. The walk is scenic, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
