From the main square (Plaza de Armas) in Cusco, head southwest on Avenida del Sol for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various restaurants and shops. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de la Cultura. Turn right onto Avenida de la Cultura and walk for about 500 meters. You will see a small bus terminal on your left. From here, you can take a local bus heading towards 'Cachora' or 'Choquequirao.' Make sure to ask the driver if they go to Choquequirao. The bus will take you closer to the trailhead.

After boarding the bus from the terminal, enjoy the scenic views as you travel for approximately 3 hours. The bus will drop you off at the trailhead for Choquequirao.
