Walking
From the Plaza de Armas, head southeast on Avenida El Sol. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Arequipa. Turn left onto Calle Arequipa and continue straight for another 5 minutes. Plazoleta Santa Catalina will be on your right, just past the junction with Calle Santa Catalina.
Walking
If you're starting from San Blas, begin at the Plaza de San Blas and walk down Calle San Blas towards the Plaza de Armas. Once at the Plaza de Armas, follow the previous directions (southeast on Avenida El Sol, then left onto Calle Arequipa) to reach Plazoleta Santa Catalina.
Public Transport
You can take a local combi (shared minibus) from the main square (Plaza de Armas) towards Avenida El Sol. Ask the driver to let you off at the stop nearest to Calle Arequipa. From there, walk straight along Calle Arequipa for about 5 minutes, and you'll find Plazoleta Santa Catalina on your right.
