    Getting There

    Walking

    Start from the Plaza de Armas in Cusco, which is the main square. From the Plaza, head northwest on Calle Almagro for about 2 blocks until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Sol. Turn left onto Avenida El Sol. Continue walking on Avenida El Sol for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Puerta del Sol. Turn right onto Calle Puerta del Sol, and you will find Puerta Del Sol at the end of the street.

    If you are near San Pedro Market, start at the market entrance and walk out onto Avenida San Pedro. Turn left and walk straight until you reach Avenida El Sol. Turn right onto Avenida El Sol, and walk for about 15 minutes. When you reach Calle Puerta del Sol, turn left and continue until you arrive at Puerta Del Sol.

    From the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun), exit the site and head south on Avenida de la Cultura. Turn left onto Calle Tullumayo and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Sol. Turn right on Avenida El Sol, and after about a 10-minute walk, take a left turn onto Calle Puerta del Sol to reach Puerta Del Sol.
