Walking
From the Plaza de Armas in the Historic Center of Cusco, head northwest on Calle Portal de Panes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Sol. Turn left onto Avenida El Sol and walk for about 5-10 minutes. You will reach the end of the street where you will see a large sign for Saqsaywaman. Continue walking up the hill, following the signs. The entrance is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the Plaza de Armas.
Taxi
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from the Historic Center. You can easily find a taxi near the Plaza de Armas. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in; it should be around 10-15 soles (about $3-$4 USD). Ask the driver to take you to Saqsaywaman. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.
Guided Tour
Another convenient option is to join a guided tour that departs from the Historic Center. Many local tour companies offer packages that include transportation and a guide.
