From the Plaza de Armas in the Historic Center of Cusco, head northwest on Calle Portal de Panes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida El Sol. Turn left onto Avenida El Sol and walk for about 5-10 minutes. You will reach the end of the street where you will see a large sign for Saqsaywaman. Continue walking up the hill, following the signs. The entrance is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the Plaza de Armas.
