Getting There

Walking
From San Pedro, start by heading towards the Plaza de Armas. Once you reach the plaza, take Avenida El Sol and head northeast. Continue straight on Avenida El Sol for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Pardo. At this intersection, you can continue straight onto Av. Pardo, which will lead you towards the outskirts of the city. After about another kilometer, you will see signs directing you to Puka Pukara. Follow these signs, which will lead you to the archaeological complex entrance.

Public Transport (Minibus)
From San Pedro, walk to the nearby minibus terminal located at Avenida Pardo. Look for minibuses heading towards 'Saqsayhuaman' or 'Puka Pukara.' The fare is usually around 1-2 soles. Once you board the minibus, inform the driver or conductor that you are going to Puka Pukara. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the designated stop for Puka Pukara, and you will be just a short walk from the entrance.
