Walking
From San Pedro Market, head north on Avenida de la Cultura. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Avenida Huayruropata. Turn left onto Avenida Huayruropata and continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for directional signs directing you to Saqsaywaman. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of the archaeological site.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From San Pedro Market, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida de la Cultura. Catch a bus heading towards 'Saqsaywaman' or 'Qenqo.' The fare is around 1.50 PEN. Inform the bus driver of your destination; they will let you know when to get off. Once you disembark, follow the signs to the entrance of Saqsaywaman, which is a short walk uphill.
Taxi (Shared or Private)
From San Pedro, you can take a taxi to Saqsaywaman. For a private taxi, expect to pay around 10-15 PEN. If you prefer a shared taxi, look for 'colectivo' taxis that might have other passengers. Ensure you communicate your destination clearly. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of Saqsaywaman, which is a short distance from the city center.
