Once in Cajatambo, follow the signs or local directions to find the entrance to Huayhuash National Park, located at J44F+CW5. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for mountainous terrain.

Begin your journey in Huaraz by taking a bus to Huánuco. Bus companies such as Movil Tours offer this route. The bus ride takes about 7-8 hours. Upon arriving in Huánuco, switch to a local bus heading to Cajatambo. This leg of the journey may take an additional 2-3 hours. Once in Cajatambo, ask locals for directions to Huayhuash National Park, located at J44F+CW5.
