Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main square in Vilcabamba. Head southwest on the main road (Route PE-3N) for approximately 6 kilometers. You will pass through the small town of Cascan, continue for another 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for Auquimarca. Turn left onto the road towards Auquimarca and follow it for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating San Antonio Pass, which is located at J4V2+995, Auquimarca 15195. There is a parking area available near the pass.

To reach San Antonio Pass by public transportation, first take a local bus from Vilcabamba to the nearest larger town, which is Loja.
