Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Ollantaytambo, which is the nearest major town to the Inca Trail. From Ollantaytambo, take the road towards Urubamba for approximately 15 kilometers. Look for signs leading to the town of Torontoy. Once you arrive in Torontoy, park your car in a safe area near the village. The ruins are a short 15-minute walk from the village along a marked path.

Public Transportation

To reach Torontoy Ruins via public transportation, take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Ollantaytambo to Urubamba. The fare is typically around 10 PEN. Once you reach Urubamba, transfer to another colectivo heading to Torontoy. The ride should take about 30 minutes and will cost around 5 PEN. After arriving in Torontoy, the ruins are a 15-minute walk from the main drop-off point in the village. Follow the signs leading to the ruins.
