Public Transportation
From Aguas Calientes, head to the main bus terminal located on Avenida Pachacutec. Look for the buses heading towards the Inca Trail. Purchase a ticket at the kiosk and board the bus. The journey to the Inca Trail entrance will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance, follow the signs for Sayacmarca, which is a hike along the trail. Remember to carry enough water and snacks for the journey.
Walking
If you prefer to hike, start from Aguas Calientes and take the trail leading towards the Inca Trail entrance. The walk will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach the entrance, continue on the Inca Trail. Follow the signs towards Sayacmarca. The hike requires some climbing, so wear sturdy shoes and be prepared for an uphill trek.

In Aguas Calientes, you can find taxis near the Plaza de Armas. Tell the driver you want to go to the Inca Trail entrance. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Once at the entrance, you will need to start your hike to Sayacmarca. Ensure you have a map or guide to navigate the trail.
