From the central area of Punchana, head towards the Malecón Tarapacá. Start by walking towards the main road, Avenida José Galvez. Once you reach the intersection, take a left onto Malecón Tarapacá. Continue walking straight along the Malecón for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way, which can be a great opportunity to explore the local culture.
Moto-taxi
For a quicker option, you can take a moto-taxi from any point in Punchana. Simply flag down a moto-taxi and tell the driver 'Boulevard - Iquitos' or show them the address 'Mal. Tarapaca'. The fare should be around 3 to 5 soles, depending on your starting point, and it will take around 5 to 10 minutes to reach your destination.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Punchana. Head towards Avenida José Galvez, then turn left onto Malecón Tarapacá and bike straight for about 1.5 kilometers. This route is relatively flat and offers a pleasant view of the river. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
