Getting There
-
Boat
From any point in Punchana, make your way to the banks of the Itaya River. You can ask locals for directions to the nearest access point to the river. Once at the river, look for small boats (called 'caballitos de totora') that operate as water taxis. The cost is usually around 5 to 10 soles. Let the boatman know you want to go to 'Barrio Florido'. This ride typically takes about 15-20 minutes depending on river conditions.

Walking
Once you arrive at the riverbank in Barrio Florido, disembark from the boat and walk towards the main road, which is called Avenida José de la Torre Ugarte. Head north along the avenue until you reach a junction. Turn right onto a smaller street, and continue walking until you see signs for Fundo Pedrito. It should be approximately a 10-minute walk from the riverbank.
