Car Rental
Start from Puno, a popular base for Lake Titicaca visitors. Rent a car from a local agency in Puno. Head northwest on Av. Lima towards Av. 2 de Mayo. Continue onto Av. Circunvalación. Follow signs for the road to Marcollo, which is about a 45-minute drive. As you approach Marcollo, look for signs to Aramu Muru. The archaeological site is located at RFH5+QGR, Marcollo 21500. Note that parking is available on-site, but ensure to arrive early to avoid crowds.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Puno, go to the local bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre Puno). Board a bus heading towards Marcollo. Buses to Marcollo run frequently, and the fare is approximately 10-15 PEN (Peruvian Soles). The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Marcollo, you can take a short taxi ride to reach Aramu Muru. Taxis should cost around 5-10 PEN.
Taxi
If you're already in Puno or nearby, you can hire a taxi directly to Aramu Muru. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The cost should be around 60-80 PEN for a one-way trip, and the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. This option is more convenient if you're traveling in a group or prefer a direct route.
