From the center of Puno, head northwest on Av. El Sol toward Jr. Independencia. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jr. Independencia. Turn right onto Jr. Independencia, and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. The Arco Deustua will be on your left at coordinates (-15.834589, -70.028967). There is limited parking available along the street.

Take a local bus or colectivo (shared taxi) from the Plaza de Armas in Puno. Look for a bus heading towards the Independencia neighborhood. The fare will typically be around 1 to 2 soles. Inform the driver you want to get off at Arco Deustua. Once you arrive, it is a short walk to the monument which is located at Jr. Independencia 415.
