Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest town of Lares. Head west on the main road (Route 3S) for about 30 minutes. Look for a sign indicating Estancia Llama Pack or GPS coordinates (latitude: -13.2747808, longitude: -72.1378901). Turn onto the dirt road leading towards the Estancia, which is approximately 10 minutes away from the main road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.
Public Transportation
To reach Estancia Llama Pack via public transportation, take a colectivo (shared taxi) from Lares to the nearest stop on Route 3S. The fare should be around 5-10 soles. Once at the stop, you may need to walk or arrange for a local driver to take you the remaining distance to Estancia Llama Pack, which is about 4 km away. Expect to pay another 10-15 soles for this ride.
Hiking
If you are already on the Lares Trek, you can hike to Estancia Llama Pack. From the last campsite, follow the trail that leads toward the direction of the coordinates (latitude: -13.2747808, longitude: -72.1378901). This trek takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks for the hike.
