If you are starting from the Miraflores area, take the Lima Metro (Line 1) from the 'Benavides' station. Travel towards 'Villa El Salvador' and get off at 'Pajaritos' station. Transfer here to the 'Metropolitano' bus system. Take the Metropolitano bus towards 'Naranjal' and get off at 'Jirón de la Unión' stop. From there, walk straight along Jirón de la Unión for about 5 minutes and you will reach the Government Palace of Peru.

From Barranco, you can take a local bus heading to 'Centro de Lima'. Look for buses that say 'Centro' or 'Jirón de la Unión'. Once you are in the Centro area, get off at the 'Jirón de la Unión' stop. Walk along Jirón de la Unión towards the direction of Plaza Mayor. The Government Palace is located directly in front of the Plaza Mayor.
