Public Bus
If you are in the center of Lima, head to the 'Jirón de la Unión' street, which is a major pedestrian street. Look for a bus stop serving the 'Rímac' direction. Take any bus that goes towards 'Rímac'. As you travel, keep an eye on the bus stops, and ask the driver to let you know when you reach 'Alameda de los Descalzos'. Once you get off, walk along the Alameda until you see the Museum of the Discalced on your left. The museum is located at Alameda de los Descalzos, Rímac 15093.
Metro
Start at the 'Estación Central' metro station in Lima. Take the Line 1 metro towards 'Villa El Salvador'. Change at 'Estación Gamarra' and take the bus or taxi towards the Rímac district. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Alameda de los Descalzos'. From there, it’s a short walk to the museum, which will be on your left.
Walking
If you are near the historic center of Lima, you can walk to the museum. Start at Plaza Mayor and head towards 'Jirón de la Unión'. Continue straight until you reach 'Avenida Abancay'. Turn left onto Avenida Abancay, and follow it until you reach the junction with 'Alameda de los Descalzos'. Turn right, and the museum will be on your left after a short walk.
Taxi or Rideshare
You can easily hail a taxi or use a rideshare app like Uber. Enter 'Museum of the Discalced' or 'Alameda de los Descalzos, Rímac' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the museum. This is a convenient option if you have luggage or prefer a direct route.
