Getting There

    Starting from the entrance of Machu Picchu, head towards the main path leading into the site. Follow the path uphill, passing by the Inca agricultural terraces on your right. Continue walking until you reach the central plaza area, where you will find signposts directing visitors. From here, follow the signs leading to Aguas Calientes, which will guide you towards Manco Capac Square. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

    If you are at the Temple of the Sun, exit and follow the path back down towards the main area. Turn right when you reach the fork in the path, and continue straight until you arrive at the lower section of Machu Picchu. Look for signs to Aguas Calientes; this route will lead you out of the archaeological site. Once you exit, continue walking downhill towards the town of Aguas Calientes, which will take about 20-30 minutes. Manco Capac Square is located in the center of Aguas Calientes, just follow the main road.
