Getting There

Walking
From the main entrance of Machu Picchu, begin by walking towards the main archaeological site. Continue straight, following the path that leads you through the ruins. Stay to your left when you reach the junction that leads to the Intihuatana (the Hitching Post of the Sun). From there, head towards the Inca Trail exit. Follow the signs that indicate the route to Aguas Calientes. You will descend along the path for about 20-30 minutes. As you approach Aguas Calientes, you will see the town come into view. Once you reach the main square in Aguas Calientes, look for the street signs directing you to Choquesuysuy.

Upon reaching the main square in Aguas Calientes, proceed towards Avenida Pachacutec. Walk along this avenue until you find the intersection with Calle Kori Wakanki. Turn left onto Calle Kori Wakanki and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. You will pass several shops and restaurants on your way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Choquesuysuy. The location is around RF69+QGM, which should be visible on your right side as you approach.
