Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as some sections may be unpaved or require four-wheel drive. Parking is generally available near the river.

  From Puerto Maldonado, you can take a shared taxi or a minivan (known as a 'colectivo') from the main terminal to Inambari.
