If you are traveling by car, start from the Paracas town center. Head southeast on Avenida Paracas and continue straight, following the signs for Paracas National Reserve. After about 10 km, you will reach the entrance of the reserve. Pay the entrance fee, which is approximately 11 soles ($3 USD) per person. Once inside the reserve, continue on the main road until you see the signs for 'Sendero al Mirador'. Turn right onto Sendero al Mirador road, and follow this road for about 5 km. You will find the Mirador de aves on your left, where you can park nearby.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a local bus from the Paracas main plaza to the entrance of the Paracas National Reserve. Look for buses labeled 'Paracas Reserva Nacional'. The fare is about 3 soles ($0.80 USD). Once you arrive at the entrance of the reserve, you can either take a taxi or walk the 10 km to the Mirador de aves. If you choose to walk, follow the main road until you see the 'Sendero al Mirador' signs. If you prefer a taxi, negotiate a fare with the driver; it should cost around 30 soles ($8 USD) to get to the mirador.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Paracas. Many shops offer rentals for about 20 soles ($5 USD) for a day. From the town center, ride southeast along Avenida Paracas, continuing onto the main road into the reserve. The ride is approximately 10 km to the entrance where you will pay the entrance fee of about 11 soles ($3 USD). After entering, bike along the main road for another 5 km until you reach the Mirador de aves. Make sure to carry water and sun protection for the ride.
