From the main plaza (Plaza de Armas) in Puno, walk to the nearby bus terminal located on Avenida Simón Bolívar. Look for buses heading to 'Sillustani' or 'Cochacatambo'. The buses usually leave every 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that their destination includes Sillustani. The bus ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes.

At the same bus terminal on Avenida Simón Bolívar, you can also catch a collectivo (shared taxi) to Sillustani. These usually leave when filled with passengers, so you may have to wait a bit. The fare is typically higher than the bus but can be more convenient. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to the Sillustani archaeological site.
