Walking
Start from the Plaza de Armas in Puno, which is a central point. Head east on Calle Lima for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Av. Costanera. Turn left onto Av. Costanera and continue walking about 1.5 kilometers along the lakeside promenade. You will pass several local shops and cafes. Continue on this road until you see signs for Mirador Puma de Puno, which is located at the end of the road. The observation deck will be on your right.

From Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Av. Juliaca, which is about 400 meters to the south. Look for buses heading towards Urb el Mirador. Board the bus (a fare of 1-2 soles is typical). After approximately 15-20 minutes, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Mirador Puma de Puno. Once you get off, walk for about 10 minutes uphill following the signs until you reach the observation deck.
