Walking
From the Plaza de Armas in Puno, head east towards Avenida La Marina. Walk along Avenida La Marina until you reach the intersection with Avenida Costanera. Turn left onto Avenida Costanera and continue straight. After about 15-20 minutes, you will see signs directing you to Cerrito Huajsapata. Continue walking up the hill toward the observation deck. The path will be steep, so take your time and enjoy the views along the way.
Public Transport
From the Plaza de Armas, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida La Marina. Look for a local minibus that is heading towards the Huajsapata area. Ask the driver or conductor to drop you off at the entrance to Cerrito Huajsapata. Once you get off, you may need to walk a short distance uphill to reach the observation deck.
Taxi (or Moto-taxi)
From any location in Puno, you can hail a taxi or moto-taxi. Tell the driver you want to go to Cerrito Huajsapata. They will take you as close to the entrance as possible. Be prepared for a short walk uphill to reach the observation deck from where the vehicle drops you off.
