Short Inca Trail: A 2-Day Guided Adventure to Machu Picchu

Fabulous Trip with Robinson

We had an absolutely incredible three-day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu with Robinson, and we cannot recommend him enough! The trek was challenging, especially given how much we were doing in such a short amount of time, but Robinson made every part of it enjoyable. He kept the long hikes fun with great conversation and was constantly pointing out interesting trees, plants, and wildlife along the way. He also knew the trek extremely well and recommended that we take horses for the highest-altitude portion so we could conserve our energy and be fresh for the long hikes that followed. It was exactly the right call! Robinson also went above and beyond to make the experience personal for us. We are huge coffee lovers, and he took us to a little spot along the route where we had some of the freshest coffee we’ve ever had. He listened to what we enjoyed and made sure to take us to local spots, including places with delicious soup (which we absolutely love!). Throughout the entire trek, Robinson was attentive, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to spend time with. He made an already incredible experience even more memorable. If you’re considering doing the Salkantay trek, book with Robinson!!! You will be in great hands.

Lost Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Outstanding customer service! The whole trip exceeded our expectations!

Our trip was very smooth, from start to finish! It was the trip of a lifetime!! Fredy & his team ensured that we were well care of (pampered even)!! Fredy was extremely knowledgeable & responsive! He handled the logistics for all 10 people traveling - even though we had 4 different itineraries - flawlessly! They always responded very quickly - especially as our trip date got closer & we needed quick responses. Their customer service is top-notch! They listened to our issues and resolved them immediately, leaving us completely satisfied. I highly recommend Inca Soul & would definitely use them again if I return to Peru!

Ladies hiking group

We were 7 women traveling as a group. Everything went smooth with 5 star transportation and a fantastic chef, Royer, who prepared us healthy meals. We were very fortunate to enter the magical Macchu Picchu archaeological site later in the day when most tourists had left. We also visitied the Mara salt mines, an alpaca/llama sanctuary where we could shop for authentic textiles. We even had a cooking class where we shopped for our ingredients at the San Pedro market in Cusco. Hotel accomodations were really great- it mentioned that they were 3 star but I would give the hotels one more star and give 4 stars. We traveled by mini bus, big bus, train and of course on foot. After our big hike we spent the following day at a “secret” hot spring resort. Perfect for our sore muscles. Our age group ranged from mid 30s to 71. You would need to be somewhat fit for these activities but Lizandro, our guide and chaperone was very patient with everyone. I can’t wait to return and at that time go to the condor view points. Fun trip with a fun group- lots of laughter and lifetime memories.
