Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Salkantay Trail area and head towards the city of Cusco. The most common route is to take the road towards Santa Teresa and then connect to the main highway (PE-3S) leading to Cusco. Once you reach Cusco, navigate to the address: F2QC+7Q2, C. Tandapata. Parking may be limited in the city, so look for public parking lots or street parking options.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Huaca Sapantiana using public transportation, find a bus heading to Cusco from your location on the Salkantay Trail. Most buses will take you to the main bus terminal in Cusco. Once you arrive at the terminal, take a local taxi or walk to the Huaca Sapantiana, located at F2QC+7Q2, C. Tandapata. Taxis are available outside the bus terminal, and the ride should cost around 10-15 soles.
Walking from Main Attractions
If you are already in the historical center of Cusco, you can reach Huaca Sapantiana on foot. From the Plaza de Armas, head southeast on Avenida El Sol until you reach Calle Tandapata. Turn left onto Calle Tandapata, and you will find Huaca Sapantiana about a 10-minute walk from the Plaza de Armas. Make sure to look out for the signage indicating the location along the way.
Taxi
For a more direct and comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from your current location in Cuco. Simply request a taxi to Huaca Sapantiana, F2QC+7Q2, C. Tandapata. The fare from the city center should be around 10-20 soles, depending on traffic and your exact pick-up point.
