Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car from Santa Cruz Trek, you will first need to head south towards Huaraz. Take the main road (PE-3N) and follow the signs for Huaraz. The journey will take approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Huaraz, continue on the same road until you reach the entrance of Huascaran National Park. Be prepared to pay an entrance fee, which is typically around 30 soles. After entering the park, follow the signs to your desired trailhead leading to Huascaran.

  From Santa Cruz Trek, you can take a public bus to Huaraz. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive in Huaraz, you will need to take a local taxi or a shared van to the entrance of Huascaran National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 15-20 soles.
